I am interested in working with you, how do we get started?

Let’s do this! Jump on over to our contact page and complete the client intake form. From there, you’ll receive a bubbly email from us with a costing structure, available start date and service agreement and once signed, and deposit paid, you’re in the club (we’ve got jackets).

Where are you based?

Our Director Matilda is based on Darkinjung Land and the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia, while the contractors we partner with are spread right across the beautiful east coast, from Melbourne right on up to Brisbane. Each team member works from wherever they like and has the flexibility to work on tasks specifically relevant to their skillset. Less overhead = less impact and lower cost for clients. Simple.

I live in a far away place, can we still work together?

Absolutely we can! We’ve been lucky enough to work with brands all over Australia and the globe, and while time differences can play a role, zoom and digital comms. tools are our best friends and help make it as simple as if you were right there next to us.

The remote nature of our business makeup means we’re highly adaptable and malleable to your business and your businesses needs.

As a business, how do you support environmentalism?

Environmentalism plays a strong role within our brands core values and processes. We aim to educate clients wherever possible on the conscious decisions they can make around their practises, packaging, printing, and resources. We pride ourselves on strong commercial relationships with eco-friendly printers and produces within Australia.

Moreover, MWC proudly donate 1% of their annual earnings to GreenFleet Australia, GreenFleet are a leading not-for-profit organisation committed to protecting our climate by restoring our forests.  They plant native biodiverse forests in Australia and New Zealand to capture carbon emissions, improve soil and water quality, and provide vital habitat for native wildlife.

Do you have a price list?

While this would be super handy, we acknowledge that every project, business framework and client is unique. For that reason, prices vary due to the potential customisation required. This process aims to avoid any unnecessary costs for you, while ensuring brands of all shapes and sizes are always provided with exactly what they need in however many formats, configurations and versions required.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, while we’re a mighty bunch, we’re a small one which means that we’re often very busy, and your deposit is your best way to lock in our work together. It also means that we can operate with less outputs on our end (no big office and bright shiny lights) and allow our team to be as flexible in their arrangements as they need in order to get the creative juices flowing. Power to us, we say.

What are your payment terms?

To kick off a project, we require a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is paid at the end of our work together prior to final assets handed over. On occasions, we are happy to alter our processes (where possible) in regards to payment terms to suit both parties, just let us know!

Do you accept PayPal?

Negative my friends. Paypal is certainly handy (and the cause of many of our impulse purchases) but we just can’t justify charging you extra to cover their additional fees. For that reason, we offer a completely secure payment option through our business management system as well as direct transfer. We will always provide you with an invoice prior to payment with exact details and a receipt afterwards, ensuring that you pay for our services, and our services only – stick it to the man!

What brands do you work with?

What’s the difference between branding and visual identity?

Good Q! Branding is the foundation of your brand, and identity is the visual execution of your brand strategy. In a nutshell, branding is the strategy you use to shape how you want people to interact with your company. It’s how you want them to feel and the messaging you want to communicate to them.

Identity is the tangible look of the brand based on the strategy overview you created at the foundation of your brand. It’s how you want to visually communicate. It includes your:

Logo, colors, Logomarks, typefaces, tag lines, iconography, wayfinding and basically any form of visual communication!

Does your costing cover printing?

While we wish we had commercial printing capabilities, we leave that to the experts. Our costing doesn’t cover printing as that sphere of graphic design has about 1 trillion variants that can impact the final cost. What we can do for you though, is utilise our strong network of commercial printers Australia wide to align your business with the best suited printer, as well as liaise with both yourself and these businesses on print finishes, stocks, shape, size and everything in between.

Do I own the work you create for my brand?

You own all final assets as outlined in your package, but it’s up to you to trademark and register them should you wish. In a nutshell, any IP created by us whilst employed by your business is yours to keep, while any of our working files, information shared with you in preliminary stages or in the form of workshops, forms, templates, and know-how stays with us.

It’s important to acknowledge creators at every stage and for that reason we do not pass on typefaces or typefaces licenses that are registered to MWC. If you wish to use these fonts in your on-going communications, you gotsta pay the piper (or jump onto our license)!  Trust us, it’s so worth it to look after the makers, those creative little devils make a huge impact on branding.

What platforms can you build my website in?

WordPress is king and comes highly recommended, but we also understand that it can be tricky to manage a business and learn a new online platform, especially if you’re not the most tech savvy. For that reason, we can build your site in self-hosted platforms such as Squarespace and e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify.
