Rosetta Deli & Bistro
Rosetta Cafe, Deli & Bistro are the newest culinary members of the Mullumbimby community, owned by Manu and Olivia, they bring forth years of expertise within the restauranteur sphere as well as generations of Italian heritage. Nonna approved and incredibly delicious, we were thrilled to work with their team to develop their newfound space and identity.
Having previously worked with Manu and Olivia on their mobile catering business Bocadito (featured on our website if you’d like to take a look) we were beyond excited to take part in their new venture. With complete creative control, the brief was “we trust you, you know us…but we need it quickly” and what was created was a vintage inspired brand, rich in personality and equal parts informative as well as attractive to the design-forward, creative community of the Northern Rivers.

Stylistically, the vintage element of the brand was created out of a culmination of typographic exploration in both form and variation. This, when paired with the custom illustrative suite and rich duotone palette, allowed for a depth of variation in their communications that often is either hard to pull off or unattainable. We formulated a guide that involved 5 typographic recommendations in terms of pairings and demonstrated each through a range of signage, way finding outcomes, menus, social assets, and their website.
